ABOUT ME

Malise Harold is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Louisiana. She received her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in August of 2013.


Before entering into the Mental Health Profession, Malise spent 10 years as a Catholic Missionary working in the education and formation of Catholic youth and families in the United States and Chile. During this time, Malise completed coursework towards a degree in Religious Sciences from the Pontifical University Regina Apostolorum, which included studies in both Philosophy and Theology. 

During her first year as a Nationally Certified Counselor, Malise worked at Crescent City Counseling and in July of 2014 became the Director of Catholic Counseling Service of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Malise left this position in order to have more time for her family and develop her private practice. 

Malise has spent close to 10 years working to integrate sound clinical practice and psychology with a Christian understanding of who man is. To this end, she has done extensive coursework and personal study in Rational Psychology, which is the philosophical psychology of St. Thomas Aquinas. 

Malise resides in Metairie with her husband, daughter and son. She is a member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association.
